TIGA goes live with their Claims Management System

TIGA (The Independent Glass Association) have partnered with nTier Software Services to customise Adempiere ERP for their Enterprise system requirements. TIGA administers insurance claims for more than 100 registered Glass Fitment Centres based throughout South Africa. The insurance claims management and bordereaux system was built on the Adempiere platform.


State IT Agency showcases Compiere at Psira

Government's FOSS initiative at Sita (www.oss.gov.za) in its effort to promote the use of open-source software within government have decided to showcase the use of a customisd open-sourced Compiere ERP+CRM at the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (Psira). This is probably the biggest Compiere ERP+CRM implementation in Africa with over 180 users spread around 7 branches within South Africa. The magazine article can be found here.

nTier Secures Application Support Contract with Psira

The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) have concluded a support agreement with nTier Support Services. The agreement covers primarily the Enterprise Operational Systems. The system is used by +- 160 users spead out over 8 branches throughout South Africa. The Enterprise application was based on an open-source ERP offering and extensively customised for Psira's business processes. nTier Software Services were the company that customised, implemented and supported the system to date.
