nTier wins iDempiere tender at ARMSCOR

In a public tender process, ARMSCOR (Armaments Corporation of South Africa SOC Ltd) has decided to replace their mainframe based applications and other legacy applications using the iDempiere ERP platform.

The tender was awarded to nTier Software Services. iDempiere ERP is an open source solution emanating from the Compiere and Adempiere ERP projects. iDempiere ERP is released under the license terms of GPL v2. nTier have more than 13 years of experience in iDempiere functionality and source code. Some of the areas earmarked for replacement and integration are Budgeting, Human Resources and Payroll, Finance, Ordering and Procurement, Security Management, Project Management and others. The solution will be rolled out country-wide, catering for more than 1200 users.
